Welcome to New Economics!

These notes are an attempt to pull Economics back to where it ought to be - among the humans, about the humans and not just for them. It is also an attempt to bring into it, elements which have been ignored primarily because of our inability to quantify and measure them, like expectations, risk, perception and heuristics.

Here we will also try to understand and analyse two phenomena that have been largely remained ill-understood. One is the business cycle and the other is the asset market. Both of them significantly impact macroeconomic health of the world, and neither seems to be under control of those who need to be in charge.
